About our collaboration with illustrator Yael Jamina

The wonderful illustrator Yael Jamina of yaeljaminaillustration.com designed a unique, summery print for us. From this print, our wide-leg skirt Yael was created: a truly special skirt whose pattern perfectly captures the essence of summer. Its flowing cut, perfectly complementing the print, is airy and drapes beautifully over your legs. The adjustable elastic waistband makes the skirt size-adjustable and suitable for any waist size.

We are incredibly excited about this very special collaboration with Yael and would like to introduce her to you:
My name is Yael Jamina. I'm studying art education, but I've been on hiatus for a while now, as I've become a mother to two wonderful daughters. That's how I ended up sharing my first illustration on Instagram a year and a half ago. I draw in every spare moment I can find.

My most cherished project so far has been creating affirmation cards for children. With my illustrations, I want to give everyone a face, to include everyone. To celebrate the uniqueness of each of us, the unfamiliar and the different, and to capture it on paper. My greatest wish is that everyone would show more openness, tolerance, and respect towards what is new and different.
Flowers are an important part of my work. I would even say they contribute to my brand recognition. The floral backgrounds in all possible shapes and colors.

I love nature. I love flowers. I love colors. And I want to be able to pass something on to my children and strengthen them. So I try to incorporate all these aspects into my work.
It was and is a huge honor for me to have been able to collaborate with such a wonderful fair fashion label as abricot coco.

I sincerely hope and wish that with the material from my flower illustration we can contribute to strengthening awareness of the beauty and importance of nature and inspire people to become more aware of, observe and enjoy the seemingly small things in nature - such as the flower by the roadside and the rose in the garden.
This collaboration was wonderful and I'm so happy with our beautiful skirt! A big thank you to the wonderful photographer Sarah from @naturally_sarah who captured all these beautiful moments.
I am incredibly happy and grateful for this opportunity, and it is definitely and without question my absolute favorite project of my journey so far as an illustrator.
And this will always remain so in my heart.
Thank you – Rebecca and Paula – from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful collaboration.
Yael Jamina
